Protests began in the city on Sunday after a video appeared online showing a 29-year-old black man, identified as Jacob Blake, being shot in the back several times by police. Clashes broke out between police and demonstrators, with several refuse collection vehicles being set on fire, while a Wisconsin Department of Corrections facility was burnt down along with several businesses . The demonstrations in Kenosha are the latest in a series of protests against police brutality and racism across the US and worldwide.
