The US president might be out of hospital, but across the US, cases of coronavirus are on the rise in an outbreak that has already killed at least 210,000 Americans. On Friday, Johns Hopkins University reported 54,000 new infections, the worst day since mid-August.
Public health officials are warning of a possible twin pandemic this fall if people, socially isolated and wary of any contact, fail to take their flu shots.
