After delaying the release of the movie ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ for a year, now Colin Trevor has said that the shooting has been stopped for 2 weeks due to cases of corona virus.

Two days ago, the release of the sixth film of the dinosaur franchise’s science fiction film ‘Jurassic World’ was announced to be postponed for a year and now it will be released till June 2022.

Initially Jurassic World: Dominion was to be released in 2021.

According to a report by the British news agency ‘Reuters’, director Colin Trevor said in a tweet that the corona virus test of some people on the production set of Universal Pictures’ film’ Jurassic World: Dominion ‘was suspended for 2 weeks after coming positive.

“Later, all of them tested negative, but due to our safety rules, we are giving a two-week break in the shooting,” he said.

However, Colin Trevor did not say whose test was positive.

Shooting for the new dinosaur film resumed in the UK in July with measures to stop the spread of the corona virus.

In early September, Warner Bros. ‘The Batman was suspended for two weeks due to a corona virus case, and lead actor Robert Pattinson was reported to have contracted the virus.

The shooting of ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ has not been completed yet, sources said that the shooting is 3 weeks away.

The film is the sixth in the franchise’s 27-year career and once again features Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.

Other actors include Laura Durn, Sam Neal and Jeff Goldblum.
