Kyrgyzstan's Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov has resigned after protesters called for him to step down, saying Sunday's election results were rigged.
Sadyr Zhaparov a founder of the opposition Mekenchil party is now the acting prime minister.
Early results have since been annulled by the country's election commission.
