IMPORTANT INFORMATION / APPLICATION GUIDELINES
  • All qualifications should only be from well reputed universities / institutions as recognized by the HEC / PEC where applicable
    • First class in the final degree / qualification prescribed for the positions is mandatory. Only one second division is allowed in entire academic career

  • First class / division means a minimum of 60% marks for annual system of examination or minimum CGPA 2.5 out of 4.0 for semester system and second class / division means a minimum of 50% marks for annual system or minimum CGPA 2.0 out of 4.0 for semester system

  • No third division in the entire academic career is allowed
  • The selected candidates would be offered an attractive remuneration package commensurate to the IST’s Special Pay Scale (SPS) and all other perquisites, privileges, allowances and benefits admissible to the pay scale as per IST Service Statutes and Regulations / NCA ESR, 2011

  • The age will be calculated on the closing date of applications. Age relaxation to exceptionally qualified candidates / ex-service personnel / government employees may be given as per rules

  • Ex-armed forces personnel will be employed under Category-II. They should also submit attested photocopies of their armed forces discharge certificate / release / retirement order along with their application forms
  • The positions are Islamabad based only. Test and Interviews will be conducted at IST, Islamabad campus only

  • Employees of Govt. / Semi Govt. / Autonomous organizations should apply “Through Proper Channel”. Advance copies are not acceptable / will not be considered
  • The applications with academic qualifications / degrees and experience in the relevant field will be considered only
  • Only short listed candidates would be called for written test / interviews
